Structure of Lesson Plans
All lesson plans are very well designed and include strong example of all of the lesson elements contained in the description of a well designed lesson plan. Lesson Plans are adequate and include most of the lesson elements contained in the description of a well designed lesson plan. More than one of the lesson plans are inadequate or poorly designed and don't meet the criteria described in lesson plan.

 

Physical Movement

 

Project contains at least one lesson incorporating a well designed and developmentally appropriate form of physical expression. This movement activity should either help students explore an element of the lesson, or to express their understanding or feeling of that element.

Project contains at least one lesson incorporating a well designed and developmentally appropriate form of musical expression. This use of music should either help students explore an element of the lesson, or to express their understanding or feeling of that element. Project contains one lesson incorporating a developmentally appropriate form of musical expression. This use of music should either help students explore an element of the lesson, or to express their understanding or feeling of that element. Project does not contain a developmentally appropriate form of musical expression.
Cohesion of Ideas
This set of 3-5 lesson plans is wonderfully designed to be interconnected and to provide a cohesive and multifaceted exploration of the topic that you have selected. This set of lesson plans holds together as a set and provides multifaceted exploration of the topic that you have selected. Lesson plans do not connect well with each other and provide a unidimensional or perfunctory artistic exploration of the topic.
Quality of Final Presentation
Final presentation is thoughtful,well-designed, engages students in active expressive activities and helps the class understand the nature of your use of expressive arts in this set of lessons. Presentation is appropriate, adequately designed, uses expressive activities, and provides and overview of your ideas. Final presentation appears thrown together, does not engage your peers and does not adequately convey your work on this project.
Writing and Organization

Set of lessons is well composed and written with no grammatical or spelling errors.

Set of lessons is well composed and written with few grammatical or spelling errors.

Set of lessons is not well composed or written and contains many errors.
