Northeast Oregon
The northeast portion of Oregon features more of the Columbia River Gorge, high desert, the Blue Mountains and the Wallowa Mountains. You can still see parts of the Oregon Trail here.  This area was the home of Chief Joseph, who you may have studied in school.
