WebQuests are teacher directed student inquiry projects that combine rich learning tasks with web-based resources, cooperative learning, and exemplary assessment rubrics.

Assignment:
Go to the Webquest.org site. Click on the "Find Webquests" button. Explore these webquests for at least an hour. I find the Curriculum x Grade Level matrix especially useful for finding good webquests. But keep in mind that a good webquest for one grade level could be modified and used with a very different grade level. Come to class prepared to show one webquest that you think would be valuable in attaining important educational goals with students.
