Philosophy of Education
From
a young age I realized the importance of the role of an educator.
Not only do they offer their experience, knowledge, and
expertise, but they also practice it with excitement, support, passion,
and humor. I also know exceptional teachers lend an understanding
to the actual learning process so students have no detriments placed
before them. At that point when the whole world becomes an open
book to them, their minds are free to explore, and learning becomes an
adventure.

There
are three values that I strongly believe in and practice in my
teaching. First, I believe that students and teachers are
partners in the learning process. Life is a journey of learning,
and I firmly believe that we all have the opportunity to learn
something new everyday. When students witness a love and passion
of learning in their teacher, they in turn excel in the classroom.
Every child is capable of being a successful student. Secondly,
respecting students is very important to me. To gain respect from
the students, teachers must first demonstrate an attitude of example
toward them. Lastly, incorporating a sense of humor into teaching
allows learning to become an exciting, fun adventure not only for the
students, but myself as a teacher.

"Give
your heart out in teaching. Do your best; say the wisest words.
But keep in mind that at the end of the day, students remember
not the exam nor the lessons you taught but how much you have
affected their lives. Teaching is also mostly about life's
lessons."
