My student-teaching placement is at W. Verne McKinney Elementary School in Hillsboro, Oregon. In the fall, I'm observing Jane Tiedemann in 2nd grade and Kim Harrington in 4th grade. At the end of January, I begin student-teaching full time in 2nd grade, and finish the school year after spring break in 4th grade. Both Mrs. Tiedemann and Mrs. Harrington have been excellent role models and have provided valuable learning experiences for me. I look forward to continuing in their classrooms and taking on more responsibilities as I gain experience teaching on my own.
