Buddy Projects: Squash and Leaf People and Turkey Hats

My Fifth Grade Classroom

I am a student teacher at Hiteon Elementary in Beaverton in both a second grade classroom and a fifth grade classroom. We have buddy classrooms, in which an upper level grade helps out a lower level grade with projects. I'm lucky that once a month, my two classrooms meet and work together, usually on an art project. Last month, November, we created turkey hats to celebrate Thanksgiving! This month, December, we are going to stay warm in the cold weather with a good book and a cup of hot cocoa!
