Welcome to my Web Page!

I am currently a student at Pacific University earning my Master’s Degree in early childhood/elementary education.  This is a second career for me, and I’m very excited!  I have been lucky enough to have student teaching placements that taught me a lot, and the MAT program at Pacific is wonderful---though it could be a bit longer, because there is just so much to learn.

Both the early and later elementary years are very appealing to me, for very different reasons.  The younger students are so excited to be in school and have such an eagerness to learn!  The older students understand a wider range of content and are better able to have more involved conversation and learning experiences.  I suppose that this is a good thing for me, because wherever I end up, whether in kindergarten or eighth grade, I should be happy!
