About me...

I was born in Hawaii and have lived there until moving to the mainland for college. I grew up playing various sports such as baseball, basketball, soccer, flag football, tennis, and volleyball. The rest of my family has also been very much involved in sports and we spent most of the weekends at a park. My family loves to travel and I’ve been to about 10 different states for various sports tournaments. I moved to Washington in 2011 after graduating from high school to attend Pacific Lutheran University. While there, our softball team won the Division III National Championship. The next year I transferred to Pacific University in Oregon for a more “family-like” atmosphere. I was involved in various sports and clubs at Pacific which allowed me to appreciate my love for teaching and helping others. I love the sense of community within this school. In 2014, I graduated with a degree in exercise science and two months later, I started the 5th Year Master’s program for teaching.
