HAITI

In Haiti, all students must have a uniform to go to school. The schools in most small communities are on church grounds, like this one in Les Anglais. Each school has different colored uniforms.

"Recess" time at school. Look carefully, I'm in the back videotaping the fun! Without a lot of "toys" kid sing songs, play hand and chase games for fun!

We did an "art" lesson with our sponsored, "Hope for Kids" kids. A group of students in OR painted paper, that we then ripped up and gave to the students to glue on to outlined pictures! They loved it and so did we!

Each morning this little guy marched up to me and gave me a huge hug, not a word was ever shared except my attempts at Creole, "Thank you's" and "Goodmorning's"...What a gift.
