Welcome Parents!
As you saw on my home page I am a student teacher. I am very excited about this year and all that I am learning and able to teach your children. My background is in Marketing. I graduated from Oregon State University in 2002 with a Business Aministration degree and worked in Direct Marketing for 4 years before having my daughter. I switched careers and went into education during the summer of 2006. I have a strong belief that education is one of the major keys to sucess and hope that all of my students are sucessful people! My student expectations and grading policies are below and also on my home page.1. Respect your peers, your teachers, all equpment and facilities.
2. Be on time.
3. Be prepared for class.
4. No cell phones or iPods (EXCEPT when explicit approval is given)
5. Be a good citizen (ignorance is not an excuse).
6. Try your hardest.
Homework Policy:
Homework is due when I collect it each day. If you do not complete it, you can turn it in as “late” for up to 50% credit anytime before dead week.
Cheating/Plagiarism Policy:
If I catch you cheating or plagiarizing you will be turned in to the administration and you’ll get a zero on that assignment or test.
