I was born and raised in Oregon. I graduated from Southridge High School where I played varsity basketball and soccer. After graduation I attended Pacific University where I earned my undergraduate degree in Teaching and Learning. In June of 2010 I began MAT 5th year program at Pacific University focusing on Early Childhood and Elementary Education.

In my free time, I love being active and being around my family, this includes my dog. If I can do both at the same time I am happy.

Throughout high school and college I was frequently involved with the youth sports around my area. I coached middle school club soccer and was continuously involved with soccer and basketball camps that my high school and college held. I loved getting the opportunity to work with young children teaching them something that I enjoy during my free time.

I look forward to the year in the MAT program where I will gain many experiences both inside and outside of the classroom in order to expand my knowledge about teaching and learning.
