About Me
Hi and welcome to my website! My name is Jolette Bernhardt and I am a
graduate student in the College of Education at Pacific University in
Forest Grove, Oregon. I am studying to receive my certification and
Master’s degree in early childhood education and elementary education.

I was born, raised and currently reside in Beaverton, Oregon. I have 6
brothers and sisters, Jeremia (26), Justine (25), Jordan (18), Jarrett
(9), Jaymin (8) and Jaylynn (8) and two wonderful parents, Douglas and
Karen.

I graduated from Aloha High School in 2001. I then attended Oregon State
University in Corvallis, Oregon. During my sophomore and Junior year at
OSU, I studied in Quito, Ecuador for 6 weeks and Santander, Spain for 6
months. During both stints I learned a tremendous amount of the
language, culture and myself. I graduated in 2005 with my Bachelor’s of
Arts in Spanish.

I am currently participating in two observations, one in Kindergarten
and one in 3rd grade at Barnes Elementary in Beaverton, Oregon as a part
on the MAT program. I will begin student teaching in each of these
placements at the end of January.

I am so eager to begin my career as a teacher! Pease feel free to browse
my website and check out some of the work I have done (and that is in
progress) for the Master’s program and some fun stuff too! Please feel
free to contact me with any questions or comments!

Sincerely,
Jolette
