Billie Jean King Podcast

I worked with a partner to create a Podcast about women’s right activity Billie Jean King. She is known for beating male, Bobby Riggs, in a tennis matched nicknamed “The Battle Of The Sexes”.

As an assignment for our general methods course, we had the choice of choosing to research on a social activist. My partner and I chose to create a PodCast on Billie Jean King, an activist for female rights. She is best known for her tennis match when she beat male Bobby Riggs in the “Battle of the Sexes.” Billie Jean King has also done many other events for women’s rights and in the LGBTQ community.
