Introduction
“Oregon or Bust!” You are a newspaper editor in St. Louis, Missouri in 1841. Your staff at the St. Louis Times is creating a special publication of a newspaper about the Oregon Trail and the journey West. Together you will gather information about the Oregon Trail and use the information you have already learned to create a newspaper to illustrate life on the Oregon Trail.
