We had planned to spend quite a bit of time in Nepal in order to allow us to spend time outside of Kathmandu in the area of Pokara and possibly in Chitwan National Park. We planned to spend as much time as we can at the base of the Himalayas and the roof of the world. We began this leg of our trip after spending a long relaxing day in Bangkok. This was our second time in Bangkok and we have come to enjoy it as a clean and relaxing place to recharge ourselves in between longer legs of our explorations.
Once we landed in in Kathmandu and made our way to our hotel we knew we were in for one of the most intense experiences of this whole voyage. We were right.
